Easy in and out is the theme behind the UVL. When not in use,
the UVL is designed to allow total freedom of access to and from
the vehicle.

Braun's new Under Vehicle Lift is the latest edition to our line of dependable
wheelchair lifts. The UVL enables The Braun Corporation to offer
more choices in personal mobility, so you can select the lift that's right
for you, your family, and your lifestyle.
Designed for full size vans, the UVL mounts on the outside underneath
the vehicle. This gives you a completely unobstructed doorway with a full
window view and greater interior space. It is ideal for active families
who need free doorway access and lots of room inside. It is also fully automatic
for convenience and independent mobility.
The lift is hidden from view and out of the way until you need it. By activating
the handheld control, the lift glides forward and down. An automatic roll
stop is electrically actuated and the wheelchair user rolls onto the sturdy
platform. To ensure safety, the lift will not ascend until the safety stop
is raised and locked. When the passenger is safely inside the vehicle, the
lift lowers and stows back under the vehicle in a weather-proof enclosure.
Safety features ensure that the lift will not stow under the vehicle as
long as a passenger is on the platform.
As with all Braun lifts, the UVL is built to meet stringent specifications
and safety standards. This not only ensures your safety, but also gives
you confidence knowing your Braun UVL will provide dependable, easy
operation trip after trip.
OUT OF SIGHT
And out of the way. When not in use the fully
integrated UVL stores neatly below the vehicle. This design allows
not only for freedom of access, but also, more usable interior space.
CONVENIENCE
Total interior space is available with the UVL. The front passenger
seat has unrestricted movement.
SELF -CONTAINED
The completely self-contained unit is kept protected from the elements.
Sturdy aluminum construction, digital control and safety features, make
the UVL very easy to operate and live with.

SPECIFICATIONS
The UVL will fit on most full-size vans, but may require some
vehicle adaptation for optimal installation.
DIMENSIONS
Braun slide door operators are designed to fit most applications. They
are equipped with a lockable outside control box and can easily be operated
manually.
The Braun "In-Door" operators are concealed within the vehicle's
side swing doors and compliment the L950® . To operate the doors manually,
you need only to remove a pin.
An outside control is a desirable option that features a powder-coated
finish, color-keyed switches and an internal light for nighttime illumination.
A hand-held control is offered for added convenience. This option is
used with attendant-operated lifts.
The optional third station control can be positioned for easy access.
Remote control systems provide outstanding convenience. This optional
unit activates the door operator as well as all lift functions.
