B R A U N Lift-A-Way D/C® Lift

For over 20 years, Braun has set the standard for commercial and personal wheelchair lifts. This standard of quality and excellence continues with the Lift-A-Way D/C® - Braun's latest lift for personal mobility.

The Lift-A-Way D/C® is based on the design of Braun's L900ARS Series commercial lifts - so you can be sure of the test proven durability. Modular construction ensures each component is completely powder coated with an attractive finish that will withstand years of use. This also allows for simple part replacement and service in the field.

Braun's non-skid yellow ARS (Automatic Roll Stop) is a feature of the Lift-A-Way D/C® . Boasting the lowest loading ramp angle in the industry, the ARS makes it easy to load both power and manual wheelchairs. Other deatures include dual locking handrails, yellow demarkation of the wheelchair loading boundaries, and an override circuit that prevents the lift from folding when weight is on the platform.

The Lift-A-Way D/C® utilizes only Braun-Built "pull-type" hydraulic cylinders. In fact, most of the components in our lifts are built in-house for strict quality control.

Before a lift leaves the factory, it has been thoroughly tested to ensure consistent operation, and the quality of our lifts is backed with our three-year Worry-Free Limited Warranty. For over two decades, Braun lifts have provided security and peace-of-mind. The Lift-A-Way D/C® carries on this tradition of quality and excellence.

Braun Lift-A-Way D/C® lifts are authorized for purchase by the Veterans Administration and state and federal agencies.

Optional Accessories

Braun slide door operators are designed to fit most applications. They are equipped with a lockable outside control box and can easily be operated manually.

The Braun "In-Door" operators are concealed within the vehicle's side swing doors and compliment the Lift-A-Way D/C® . To operate the doors manually, you need only to remove a pin.

An outside control is a desirable option that features a powder-coated finish, color-keyed switches and an internal light for nighttime illumination.

A hand-held control is offered for added convenience. This option is used with attendant-operated lifts.

The optional third station control can be positioned for easy access.

Remote control systems provide outstanding convenience. This optional unit activates the door operator as well as all lift functions.
