personal mobility. Braun Lift-A-Way® wheelchair lifts have become synonymous
with quality and dependability. The simplicity of design results in easy
operation, less maintenance, and a smooth, quiet ride.
The Braun Lift-A-Way® comes in fully automatic and semi-automatic
models. The fully automatic model provides independent mobility through
total comand of raising, lowering, folding and unfolding functions. The
semi-automatic model has automatic lowering and raising functinos with easy
manual folding and unfolding. Both are designed to fit side or rear doors
of most domestic and foreign full-size vans and mini vans.
Safety is important to us, because it's so important to you. That's why the Braun Lift-A-Way® has so many safety features such as the special nonskid powder coating and safety yellow roll stop. Our back-up pump is standard on all fully automatic models and is available as an option on semi-automatic models. The fully automatic lift also has an optional side entry platform for ease of loading.
Our modular construction allows for the powder coating of all lift components prior to final assembly. This technology provides the benefit of a finish that is both durable and attractive.
Before a lift leaves the factory, it has been thoroughly tested to ensure consistent operation, and we back the quality of Braun lifts with our three-year Worry-Free Limited Warranty. Rugged daily use, however, is where the Lift-A-Way® proves dependable year after year. It was a great design over 20 years ago. It's an even better design today.
Braun Lift-A-Way® Lifts are authorized for purchase by the Veterans Administration and state and federal agencies.
For fully automatic models only.
An outside control is a desirable option that features a powder-coated
finish, color-keyed switches and an internal light for nighttime illumination.
A hand-held control is offered for added convenience. This option is
often used with attendant-operated lifts.
The optional third station control can be positioned for easy access.
Remote control systems provide outstanding convenience. This optional
unit activates the door operator as well as all lift functions.
