Braun offers many choices when it comes to personal mobility products.
That's because we realize that not any one wheelchair lift can serve everyone's
needs and desires. Braun's L950® is one of those choices. This unique
lift is designed with many weight-saving features to make it less cumbersome
while providing all the strength and rigidity needed for long-lasting, dependable
operation. We've also added features to increase your convenience, maneuverability,
and independence.
Through careful design and selection of materials, we've reduced the total
weight of the lift without reducing its strength, durability, or load capacity.
For example, a series of slots in the rear of the platform nearest the vehicle
reduces the weight of the platform without affecting its strength. Also,
by designing the bridgeplate wider and using lighter gauge steel, it provides
the necessary strength for proper support while saving weight.
The height of the outboard automatic roll stop has been reduced to accommodate
long chairs and scooters. The 4" outboard roll stop and 2" side
plates meet all VA and SAE safety standards.
The L950® is engineered to be convenient and user-friendly. For easier
platform boarding in confined parking areas, a no-cost optional side entry
feature is available. This feature works automatically in conjunction with
the automatic outboar
d roll stop. We've also located the "up/down"
platform switch on the front handrail allowing easy access. The manual back-up
pump handle, which can be used to raise and lower the platform in case of
power failure, has also been positioned for easy use. To make your travels
more enjoyable, the L950® wheelchair lift has been designed and engineered
to ensure the quietest possible riding environment.
As with all Braun lifts, the L950® is built to meet stringent specifications
and safety standards and carries our three-year Worry-Free Limited Warranty.
FEATURES
Braun slide door operators are designed to fit most applications. They
are equipped with a lockable outside control box and can easily be operated
manually.
The Braun "In-Door" operators are concealed within the vehicle's
side swing doors and compliment the L950® . To operate the doors manually,
you need only to remove a pin.
An outside control is a desirable option that features
a powder-coated finish, color-keyed switches and an internal light
for nighttime illumination.
A hand-held control is offered for added convenience. This option is
used with attendant-operated lifts.
The optional third station control can be positioned for easy access.
Remote control systems provide outstanding convenience.
This optional unit activates the door operator as well as all lift functions.
